Dear Potential Donor,
“A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives.” Jackie Robinson
Jackie Robinson, the first African-American to play Major League Baseball, embodied a life that not only influenced his generation but continue to inspire future generations. Just as Mr. Robinson utilized sports to change history, 925 Sports Corporation mission is to empower the next generation through sports. Our organization exists to inspire all youth to win on AND off the field.
African American communities across the nation are facing dilemmas that some believe are incapable of improving. Increasing number of single-parent homes, high crime and incarceration rates, under-performing schools, and limited access to higher education are all difficulties that seem to impede progress. 925 Sports Corporation seeks to open doors that others think are closed and some do not know exist.
925 Sports currently operate the Kentucky Diamonds. The Diamonds are composed of youth (boys and girls) 8-12 years old from multiple backgrounds and neighborhoods in Jefferson County. This past summer the 9U Diamonds team won the Future Stars of Sports World Series Championship held in Louisville, and earned second place at the MVP World Series in Gatlinburg, TN. Our program has provided opportunities on and off the field for our players and families that many in our community do not have the chance to experience.
You can help us encourage our youth to win on AND off the field. Your support is crucial to our efforts to empower youth to become leaders of the next generation. If you’re able, we would love if you could make a donation to help us achieve our mission.
All donations are 100% tax deductible as 925 Sports Corporation is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt non-profit organization.
Thank you in advance for your contribution. Your donation will go toward purchasing equipment, uniforms, indoor training facility rental, and league/tournament fees.
